I drew this piece in a small, quiet, wild area of a beautiful park that I spend a lot of time in. It’s called St. Anne’s park and it was once owned by the Guinness family. Much of it was designed and planted by Lord Ardilaun from 1868. In summer 2018 we had a 6 week heat-wave in Ireland
- really unusual for us - so I was able to spend a lot more time drawing outdoors and alot more time in my bare feet which I loved. During the few days over which I drew this piece I was immersed in the warmth of the sun and the fragrances of the wild plants, grasses and trees. I felt completely in my element. I think that’s why I called this piece “Flow”.
