Stay a while
rest a while
listen to our song.
The rustling leaves
in the wind
inviting you along.
Take some time
sitting still,
it won't take very long
And then you'll see
we're always here
singing you this song

This print is packaged in a compostable corn-starch bag (except for 35 x 25 cm size ). It will be shipped flat between two pieces of strong cardboard and wrapped in brown paper.
I drew this piece over two days in August 2019 sitting under a poplar tree in the millennium arboretum in St. Anne's park. This beautiful arboretum was developed by the Parks Department along with the Tree Council of Ireland in 1988 to celebrate Dublin's Millennium. It covers 16 acres and it is planted with over 1000 types of tree. I'm not sure why I chose this particular tree to draw under on that day but I've become very fond of it since. When I walk in the arboretum now I will often visit it and nod a hello to it as I pass by.
