Magical, shape-shifting, otherworldly and wise: these are some of the words associated with fox in folklore and mythology. Adept at moving between worlds, fox shows up in our lives when we find ourselves in those in-between, uncertain spaces. As we move away from old ways and patterns we may find ourselves in uncomfortable, unfamiliar spaces. This period of time can feel turbulent, full of resistance and fear. But fox is familiar with these liminal worlds and will guide us into our new reality if we allow it. Fox is wise and can view situations calmly from many perspectives. And so it asks us to sit with this uncertainty, to trust the unknown, as uncomfortable as it may feel. And when the time is right fox will show us the way through, revealing a means to navigate this new chapter of our lives in ways we could never have imagined before.
