Frog Guardian original watercolour
Frog guardian is a water spirit who moves between two worlds. She is associated with water, transformation, vulnerability and boundaries. She appears in our lives when transformation is at hand. She is here to guide us through the difficulties we may face when everything around us is changing. She can show us how to protect our boundaries as we may feel more vulnerable during these times.
Frog-guardian invites us to take risks that will help us move forward in our lives, even if we feel fearful of doing so. She encourages us to take time in nature to slow down and root ourselves firmly in the land. Connecting with nature can help soothe our fears. She says that the best medicine is to take a gentle swim outdoors or simply float somewhere in water. She knows that water will calm our senses. It can re-align us with the fluidity and flow of all things. Frog-guardian reminds us that our path is never a straight one. It is fluid, meandering and unknown. And if we are brave enough to trust the flow of this path, we may learn to face future challenges with more ease and grace.
