This piece was inspired by a visit to the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin where
I saw the exhibition Costumes Parisiennes. It was an amazing display of
beautiful fashion illustrations (a mixture of copper-plate etchings and aquatints).
I ended up doing this drawing by the fireside that evening.
